This video pretty well sums up the reasons for purchasing Numismatic or graded coins as opposed to a Bullion or uncertified coin .. I can't stress enough that its buyer beware in the coin world, if your not sure of what your buying, your probley being ripped off.
Be extremely cautious of any dealer who talks down numismatic coins so you can purchase his bullion coins.
Almost all GOOD coin dealers will be selling both Numismatic and Bullion coins .. Although I will say this, if your buying Numismatic coins stick with PCGS, ANACS or NGC certified MS70 coins.
These are the highest grade you can get, and nothing will command a higher price when it comes time to sell.
